The Bike & Hound Pub has live bands on every Friday and Saturday, most of which are surprisingly good. There is no entrance charge, drinks prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is loud and rowdy but positive. Never observed any fights or aggression. Also no scallies, which is essential for a good night out. I discovered this excellent place only a few months ago and keep going back weekend after weekend.
